Formed blood relatives Matt Fleming and Bob Hunter began forging sounds at a young age, the Philadelphia based duo Noise and Silence create versatile dynamics with a wide range of energy and sound. Their sounds sample from atmospheric shoegaze with post punk feedback while burying elements of electronic tech. The self recorded and engineered release is Cycle Theory which combines analog and digital recording techniques for a balance of low and high fidelities.

Cycle Theory brings you into various scenes of eternal minimalism. Following an introspective path that loops around on itself for endless repeats, the composition is an ongoing sequence of universal duality. The slightly askew drums and guitar’s honed dissonance are the backbone to the chemistry of the release, accentuated by a swirling of warped delays and an ethereal orchestra of cellos. Cycle Theory constructs an equilibrium of composed chaos.
